Resource Highlight: Girl Scouts of the USA: Short-Term Volunteers in Computer Science
In an effort to increase the number of women and girls in STEM fields, the Girl Scouts of the USA promotes interest in computer science, engineering and outdoor STEM through its Think Like a Programmer Journey program. The program introduces Girl Scouts to computer science by promoting Skills badges in areas such as coding, cybersecurity, video game creation and robotics. Volunteers are needed to serve as guides and mentors for the Think Like a Programmer Journey program, and those interested are encouraged to apply.
