Program Solicitation: Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP)

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is soliciting proposals for its Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) program. The AGEP program’s objective is to foster the growth of a more capable and diverse research workforce. NSF is particularly interested in activities that will advance science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and STEM education research disciplines contributing to the fields of artificial intelligence and quantum information systems. The solicitation includes three funding tracks that support AGEP program goals:

  • AGEP Institutional Transformation Alliance (ITA): The ITA track is designed to support the innovative systemic and institutional change strategies that promote equity for AGEP populations.
  • AGEP Faculty Career Pathways Alliance Model (FC-PAM): The FC-PAM track intends to support Alliance models that will advance AGEP populations.
  • AGEP Catalyst Alliance (ACA): The ACA track supports of one or more organizational self-assessment(s) to collect and analyze data that will identify inequities affecting the AGEP populations.

Submissions are limited to institutions of higher education located in the United States. Letters of Intent are required and are due on June 2, 2021 with Full Proposals due on August 17, 2021.
