Recently, the Center for Minorities and People with Disabilities in IT’s (CMD-IT) Diversifying Future Leadership in the Professoriate (FLIP) Alliance, was renamed the LEAP Alliance. This change reflects the vision of diversifying the LEAdership in the Professoriate.

CRA-WP announced the renaming of the Grad Cohort for URMD Workshop to the Grad Cohort for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Leadership Skills, the IDEALS Workshop. This renaming decision was based upon community discussions on the use of the acronym and term “URM” when discussing groups underrepresented in computing.
