The data for the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES) Science and Engineering State Indicators data tool has been updated. The tool utilizes U.S. state data in science and engineering education, workforce, research and development, patents and publications, and knowledge-intensive industries. This update includes new data for half of the 60 indicators, with new information on higher education financing and degrees, research and development, early-stage funding of businesses and other indicators.
