STARS Computing Corps, in collaboration with the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice, is conducting a study on basic needs insecurity and non-tuition barriers to completing STEM (especially computing) degrees among low-income students at community colleges. Their goal is to foster a broader community of institutions dedicated to supporting students’ basic needs.
Community colleges willing to share institutional data and administer student surveys will receive $10,000 for participating in this vital research initiative.
If you know of a community college that would like to participate in the INTuiTN S-STEM Research Hub, please contact Jamie Payton.
